fifty-six threads café
fifty-six threads café is our latest social enterprise venture. The café space has been tastefully designed with a striking wood feature throughout. Located at 56 Derby Street Kensington in the midst of a vibrant multicultural community, fifty-six threads offers a delicious range of homemade food freshly cooked by our onsite chef. Serving breakfast, lunch, snacks, sweet treats and great coffee, the café is open from Wednesday to Sunday. The café opened in November 2011 and its main objective is to provide employment and training opportunities for new migrants.
Global Café
Global Café enterprise offers lunch and snacks to students and staff of AMES Noble Park site and Noble Park English Language School. It also offers 12 month traineeship in Certificate 2 in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) and work placements.The enterprise serves as a place for informal social networking for newly arrived AMES students.
