Settlement Services
Our Services
All HSS services are provided based on the assessed needs of the individual or family, and may include:
Case Management, consisting of six components:
Needs Assessment (pre and post arrival) and Case Management Plan - every client is assigned a Case Manager who conducts a needs assessment, and then develops and implements a tailored case plan in collaboration with the new arrival to achieve initial settlement outcomes.
Transit Assistance
Reception, Property Induction and Initial Food Provision - clients are received at the airport, transported to their accommodation, and provided information and assistance to enable them to function in their new environment — including provision of food or food vouchers for a week.
Essential Registrations - clients are assisted to connect with essential services such as education, AMEP, financial support etc.
Orientation - the Orientation Program seeks to equip clients with basic life-skill competencies, in order to commence their settlement journey, and to build clients’ self confidence and ability to independently access support services when future needs arise.
