Skilled Professional Migrants Program
The Skilled Professional Migrants Program is designed to assist recently arrived migrants find
employment in their profession.
The SPMP helps qualified skilled migrants to
develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to overcome the difficulties that
can prevent them from finding a suitable job.
This accredited program combines a 3½ week intensive workshop style pre-employment course with vocational counselling, one on one feedback, guest speakers from the corporate sector and mentoring.
Topics include:
• The Australian job market and workplace culture• Writing Australian style resumes and cover letters
• Understanding job advertisements and applying for a job
• Interview skills including preparation, practice and feedback
• Telephone skills
• Networking skills
Our research shows that over 70% of our clients have found suitable employment which uses their overseas qualifications and experience. One of our clients had this to say:

After successfully completing the SPMP clients may apply for the opportunity to join the Mentoring Program. How to Apply
