AMES Settlement Services division supports and promotes cultural diversity. IHSS provides services to refugees and special humanitarian entrants during their initial settlement. We are now seeking applications from suitably experienced and qualified staff for the following position:
The Case Coordinator takes overall responsibility for the needs assessment of eligible clients to determine what services are required and over what time frames and ensures that all relevant services and referrals are managed and delivered in a coordinated way. The Case Coordinator is fully accountable for delivery of seamless and effective IHSS and/or settlement services to entrants, as per contract eligibility, without duplication or gaps. The role ensures that entrants develop the skills, knowledge and support to begin to build their lives as part of the Australian community. The successful applicant must have recent experience in settlement work with CALD communities preferably with a social work, community development, community health or related background / qualification.
