This youth course will help you learn and participate in a wide variety of sports.

What will I learn?

This course will teach you skills in a number of sports. For example:

  • Australian rules football
  • Cricket
  • Lawn bowls
  • Tennis
  • Water safety
  • Badminton


To be eligible for this course, you must be a new arrival aged 16 to 25 years.

The course will be run subject to enrolment numbers.

The AMEP is based on accredited curricula delivering 10361NAT Course in Preliminary Spoken and Written English, 10362NAT Certificate I in Spoken and Written English, 10363NAT Certificate II in Spoken and Written English, 10364NAT Certificate III in Spoken and Written English. AMES is a Registered Training Organisation TOID 0590. This course is part of the AMEP and is free to eligible AMEP students. The Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training.
