The 2013 Heartlands Refugee Art Prize is the fourth annual collaborative venture between AMES and Multicultural Arts Victoria. Curated by Damian Smith, the exhibition features paintings, drawings, mixed media and photographic works by refugee artists entered in Prize.

The aim of the Art Prize is to illustrate the hopes and dreams of refugees seeking a better life in Australia. This event is to open the final stage of the exhibition at Werribee Park so don't miss out!

A light brunch will be provided.

Directions to the Werribee Park Homestead:

  • Head for Werribee Park precinct (Melways map 201) which is located at 320 K road.
  • Enter thru gate 5 (Melways Map 201 B5), NOT the main entrance at ref D1
  • Drive up to the security gate adjacent to the Shadowfax Winery Carpark and then follow the signs to the launch car park
