Join our seminar!
The Research and Policy unit regularly conducts research with people with low levels of English. Like many other divisions in AMES, we often employ staff who have language and cultural backgrounds in common with participants to assist.
Recently we have published a short report about this aspect of our work called The First Language Advantage: Working with Bilingual Research Assistants.
We warmly invite you to a seminar we will be hosting to discuss our approach to working with bilingual research staff at AMES. There will be presentations from Research and Policy as well as some of the bilingual research assistants who have worked on past projects. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and make comments.
Drinks and afternoon tea will be served.
