Reponses from the recent Volunteers survey indicate that information about the Asylum Seeker Program would be a topic of interest for volunteer tutors. As a result, we have decided to host a series of seminars to provide you with more information on the Asylum Seeker Program and Asylum Seeker issues.

We thought it was opportune to combine this seminar with the acknowledgement of National Volunteer Week –Volunteers – thanks a million – as our first event.  The format will be an overview presented by Brooke Shearer, Manager of the AMES Asylum Seeker Program followed by presentations from several case workers giving a personal insight to the journey that has been undertaken by Asylum Seekers from various countries.

THIS SESSION IS NOW FULL. TO BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST PLEASE CALL ERIN ON 9938 4772 OR EMAIL events@ames.net.au
