The World comes to Mordialloc:

The World Comes to Mordialloc is a short play written and devised by award winning Melbourne playwright, Kieran Carroll, in collaboration with six ESL students from Mordialloc Neighbourhood House.

The play utilizes stories, music and movement to tell not only a migration story, but also, how these women are now living in suburbs such as Mordialloc. The six performers from Belgium, Sudan, Japan, Argentina and Lithuania had never been on stage before this performance, this combined with them delivering the play in English has given them more confidence throughout their lives.

The evening will commence with refreshments from The Sorghum Sisters and will also include an update on volunteering initiatives at AMES.
