English and Learning Skills Programme
This course is for clients from a CALD background wishing to improve or further develop English language communication skills in the areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing for community participation, employment or further study.
Prerequisites

Basic English language and computer skills to be able to assimilate new knowledge/information
- Must have capacity and capability to access and use computer with internet
What will I learn?
- Learners will be able to participate more effectively in community events and activities, develop the knowledge to produce basic employment documents and complete forms for community, employment and study purposes
How will I learn?
The course will be offered
- Online Learning, where the student studies remotely off campus using training materials that are provided online or correspondence by the Teacher/Trainer

To be eligible to study this course the participants must be a permanent resident or an Australian citizen

This is a 20 hour course delivered in 2 hour sessions over a 10 week period
