Community Support Program

CSP For VIC Only

AMES Australia is an Approved Proposing Organisation (APO) in the Department of Home Affairs’ Community Support Program (CSP). The CSP is a private sponsorship program for people in humanitarian sitauations overseas.

The CSP harnesses community support for refugees, including the willingness of the Australian business community to suport refugees in practical ways through employment. Under the CSP, Australian Supporters (through APOs) are required to demonstrate they are able to provide adequate support to enable new arrivals to achieve financial self-sufficiency within their first year in Australia.

AMES Australia will be accepting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from Australian Supporters living in Victoria for visa applicants intending to live in Victoria as follows:

OPEN: Monday 18th November 2019 at 9:00am

CLOSE: Monday 25th November 2019 at 5:00pm

AMES Australia is not currently accepting EOIs from Australian Supporters outside of Victoria. If you live outside of Victoria, please refer to our Other States page.

Before applying for an EOI, please read the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) page, and the EOI Terms and Conditions carefully (on the EOI page). Below is AMES' model for the CSP:
