#AMESCareerTips Series Introducing AMES Australia’s Career Tips series, assisting you with Job Seeking and Career Management in 2020.

Hi, my name is Drue Vickery and I’m a Mentoring and Employer Engagement Specialist with AMES Australia’s Community Education team. I’d like to let you know about a new video series we are launching.

We are all facing challenges with the impact of COVID-19. AMES Australia remains focused on supporting our community in developing and reinforcing the skills employers need.

We have seen jobs reduce significantly but even in time of adversity, new opportunities will arise. We want to help you make the most of those opportunities.

We also hope that as restrictions are relaxed and as the economy goes into recovery mode, you are better equipped to advance your career.

Our series of tips and suggestions focus on your job search within the current labour market.  We have included topics that are particularly relevant right now, such as video interviews and digital networking, in addition to topics which are always important, like resume reviewing and the use of Linkedin.
