What will I learn?
- Knowledge and understanding of different roles duties and responsibilities for Aged and Disability care.
- Duty of care, attitudes to vulnerable and older people, elder abuse
- Workplace communication skills, such as following instructions, understanding procedures, making phone calls, writing incident reports, messages, filling in forms,…
- A range of numeracy activities such as rosters, maps, measurement, estimation, weights and time WHS and safe work practices, such as identifying hazards and removing/minimising risk
- Using technology for work and study, such as using the internet, email, and Microsoft Word
Outcomes:
- Advance your readiness for employment or further study in the Caring Sector.
- Learners will complete an interview before the start of the course to ascertain their literacy level.
- Learners will receive a Certificate of Participation at the end of the course.
- Prepares you for CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)

- Online Learning, where the student studies remotely off campus using training materials that are provided online or correspondence by the Teacher/Trainer
