What will I learn?

In this course you will gain knowledge in:

  • The Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
  • Different roles, duties and responsibilities for Child care workers.
  • Duty of care and different work routines.
  • Workplace communication, such as following instructions, understanding procedures, writing reports,….
  • Building relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Rights and responsibilities.
  • A range of contextualised numeracy activities such as rosters, maps, record keeping,…
  • Using technology for work and study, such as using the internet, email, and Microsoft Word 
     
Outcomes:
  • Advance your readiness for employment or further study in the Early Childhood and Education Sector.
  • Learners will complete an interview before the start of the course to ascertain their literacy level.
  • Learners will receive a Certificate of Participation at the end of the course.
  • Prepares you for CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

  • Online Learning, where the student studies remotely off campus using training materials that are provided online or correspondence by the Teacher/Trainer
