What will I learn?
In this course you will gain knowledge in:
- The Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
- Different roles, duties and responsibilities for Child care workers.
- Duty of care and different work routines.
- Workplace communication, such as following instructions, understanding procedures, writing reports,….
- Building relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Rights and responsibilities.
- A range of contextualised numeracy activities such as rosters, maps, record keeping,…
- Using technology for work and study, such as using the internet, email, and Microsoft Word
Outcomes:
- Advance your readiness for employment or further study in the Early Childhood and Education Sector.
- Learners will complete an interview before the start of the course to ascertain their literacy level.
- Learners will receive a Certificate of Participation at the end of the course.
- Prepares you for CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
