Keep tasting the difference through COVID by supporting our refugee clients

Annually AMES Australia’s Multicultural Hub hosts the ‘Taste the Difference’ dinner offering our partners and supporters a unique chance to dine with our clients and hear their stories firsthand, all while enjoying sumptuous feasts prepared by refugee culinary entrepreneurs.

In June to recognise Refugee Week, several of our key corporate partners were offered a chance to celebrate Taste the Difference@Home in 2020, in partnership with Hamed of Sunshine Café and Salamatea who provided delicious Persian feasts

Our volunteers performed contactless delivery feeding hungry locked down diners more than 50 serves of Hamed’s Persian fare.

Hamed is still open for takeway and orders can be made on the website www.hamedspersiankitchen.com/restaurant/

You can also book in to learn online how to cook one of the oldest cuisines on earth with Hamed via Eventbrite. https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/hameds-persian-kitchen-live-tickets-104016086916
