Springvale is filled with natural beauty as well as having a diverse choice in food and shopping due to it being one of Melbourne’s most multicultural communities.

Located 20km south-east from Melbourne, the area is serviced by two railway lines and several bus routes that run through the suburb. 

The Springvale Centre offers a unique shopping experience due it being one of Melbourne’s best shopping strips for fresh produce, Asian goods and restaurants. The Centre offers 50 restaurants and cafes and 50 fresh food stores.

The resources of the Springvale Library reflect the needs of the suburbs large multicultural community. The library provides language services, computer and Internet access, youth programs and school holiday’s programs.

The area caters to nature lovers with many parks and reserves that suit a range of outdoor activities. The Alex Wilkie Nature Reserve allows visitors to walk through some of the regions most beautiful bushland. The reserve also offers picnic areas, BBQs and live mini steam trains.
