  • Exhibition of Lino Cuts artwork by AMES Australia St. Albans students.

    Mon, 24 Jul – Sun, 31 Dec 2017

    Wyndham Vale Community Learning Centre
86 Manor Lakes Blvd Manor Lakes, VIC 3030

A collection of lino-cut prints by AMES Australia's St Albans Young Adult Class is now on display permanently at the Wyndham Vale Community Learning Centre, communicating the students' aspirations for life in their new country. Inspired by the theme 'Hopes and Dreams', the students drew their face profiles using torches to make shadows. Led by artist Joanna Mott, the students' profiles and other images were then made into prints through drawing, carving and printing processes. The exhibition follows creative activities run over Term 2 at AMES Australia's St Albans and Werribee Young Adult classes.
