When you first join the our English courses you will have your English level assessed to determine the right course for you. AMES Australia English for Living in Australia courses are offered from beginner to advanced levels at all AMES Australia locations and are based on the Certificate in Spoken and Written English (CSWE). AMES Australia Special Skills courses help you gain specific English language goals. For example, you may wish to improve your pronunciation and grammar, or you may wish to improve your computer skills or your job search skills. These courses are suited to students who are waiting to start a general English course or who want to undertake a short course.
These courses provide students with a range of skills for living in Australia including English language courses focusing on speaking, pronunciation and listening. There are also courses that teach students about the internet, how to use email and Facebook as well as kitchen based courses that develop knowledge about food handling.
These courses provide an informal option for those not yet ready to undertake accredited courses.
