Who is AMES Australia?

AMES Australia is a government agency who has been helping refugees and migrants to settle into Australia for more than 70 years.  We achieve this not only by working with you our clients but also with the community, business and Government to develop sustainable and effective settlement solutions for the whole Victorian community.

Who is Redback? (Airport Pickup)

Redback are a one of many partners of AMES Australia. Their role is to transport you to your temporary accommodation and provide you with some basic food items, other essential items and a mobile phone.

Your Case Manager

You have been assigned a Case Manager who will contact you shortly after you arrive to your temporary accommodation. Your case manager will be able to provide advice and answers to many of your questions and support you in many ways.

If you require additional food or clothing please contact your case manager.

Mobile Phones

You will be issued with a mobile phone with a SIM card (1 per family). Please note that it might take a couple of days for the SIM card to activate.

AMES Australia Multicultural Hub

AMES Australia provides various client support services from the Multicultural Hub. You can attend the Hub freely to connect with AMES Australia staff and to meet with friends.
