January 2020 Skills Select Round
In the January 2020 round, 1,000 invitations were issued for subclass 189 – Skilled Independent visa and 300 invitations for subclass 491 – Family Sponsored stream. The Invitations were issued on a minimum point score of 90 points.
Software and Application Programmers, Accountants, ICT Business and Systems Analysts, Computer Network Professionals, Registered Nurses and Civil Engineering Professionals are some of the occupations that have been issued with most number of invitations in the current program year.
Pro-rata occupations in the 11 January 2019 round:
The occupations with higher demand than availability will be subject to pro-rata arrangements. The minimum point score for the pro-rata occupations in the December round were as follows:
