South Australia adds 70 occupations to the State Nomination Program for offshore applicants

From September 28, 2021, South Australia will open 70 occupations for offshore applicants, as part of their COVID-19 recovery response.
Applicants must meet the minimum English requirement (proficient plus level) and have 8 years work experience in the nominated occupation (or closely related one). Applicants must also meet the Department of Home Affairs requirements, state-specific occupation requirements and be skilled in an occupation from the Skilled Occupation List.
Offshore applicants who meet those requirements can submit a Registration of Interest (RoI) from Tuesday 28 September 2021. The state nomination process is very competitive and even if the minimum requirements are satisfied there is no guarantee that an invitation will be received after lodging an RoI.
