  • Different roles, duties and responsibilities for Child care workers.
  • Duty of care and different work routines.
  • Workplace communication, such as following instructions, understanding procedures, writing reports,….
  • Building relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Rights and responsibilities.
  • A range of contextualised numeracy activities such as rosters, maps, record keeping,…
  • Using technology for work and study, such as using the internet, email, and Microsoft Word 

Outcomes:
Advance your readiness for employment or further study in the Early Childhood and Education Sector.
Learners will complete an interview before the start of the course to ascertain their literacy level.
Learners will receive a Certificate of Participation at the end of the course.
